On January 15, Bergen County school teacher Kim Diaz wrapped up her classroom’s humane education curriculum revolving around “A Piggy’s Tale” comics, and the students’ final project was to make their own comics! Although they had their choice of subject to choose from, so many of these kids, freshly inspired by Piggy’s adventures, chose to make their comics about social justice. One student even made their comic about marriage equality! These kids are amazing! Thank you Kim!
